New Circle Series 2019-2021
This series features a circular woodblock whose glued-together pieces separated as a result of pressure from the press. I began to assemble and reasseble the pieces as a way of exploring the ideas of parts to whole and absence to presence. This was part of my grieving process after the unforeseen passing of my mother in December of 2018.
