Circle Series 2019-2021
This series features a circular woodblock whose glued-together pieces separated as a result of pressure from the press. I began to assemble and reassemble the pieces as a way of exploring the ideas of parts to whole and absence to presence. This was part of my grieving process after the passing of my mother in December of 2018.
